We have a small hobby kennel located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country
overlooking Canyon Lake. The ridgebacks have plenty of room to run on over
an acre. They stay fit chasing each other and keeping away the deer.

South Africa is the land of my birth, and as such, we love the rich
history of South Africa and of the Rhodesian Ridgeback. Our every effort
will be made to preserve this history and the South African
standard and type of the ridgeback.
Our experience with
ridgebacks began in the early 1970's when our family got it's first
ridgeback. Themba, a red wheaten female, went everywhere with us,
our faithful companion and protector. A few years later came Tondo,
a huge light wheaten male, who once ate the Thanksgiving ham right
off the dining room table. Sheba, a red wheaten female, was another
addition to the Harris household. Sheba owned the youngest Harris
girl, and snored Mrs. Harris to sleep at night. More ridgebacks were
to come over the years, always loved and greatly treasured. Now our
own children are being raised with ridgebacks. Rhodesian Ridgebacks
have always been and will always be a part of our family and part of
our heritage. "Nkosi Sikelei' iAfrica" (Lord Bless Africa) We believe
the Rhodesian Ridgeback is best suited to being a loyal and
cherished family member. They are also well-rounded and excel in
numerous field and sporting events. Our dogs are lovingly trained,
screened in health checks, and proven in the show ring.

Although we are just starting our breeding program, we may
occasionally have puppies or adults available, or be able to refer you
to others. Please
